Quick & Dirty Itinerary for Fall in Banff (With Flight Deals)

There are some awesome flights right now across the US to fly into Calgary and then head to Banff National Park in Canada for fall! I’ve done all the heavy lifting for you, so you can quickly plan your amazing fall getaway with awesome flights. You’ll find the links to all the flights, where to stay, and a list of to-dos.

WHAT TO DO IN BANFF
👀 Banff Avenue
The main street is lined with shops, galleries, restaurants, and cafes.
You can try:
🥾 Lake Louise
There are a couple of options for Lake Louise depending on your adventure level:
Lake Louise Lakeshore - Walk the fairly flat, easy trail around the lake
The Tea Houses Trail - This is a long hike (8.9 mi), but it’s one of my favorite hikes I’ve ever done!

🥾 Moraine Lake
Another beautiful turquoise lake!
Take a short hike up the rockpile for a great view
🐎 Horseback Riding
Take in the beauty from horseback! Here are some options for you:

👀 Try to Spot Wildlife
If you are lucky, you can spot wildlife from the road (We saw bears just from the car!)

🚗 Scenic Drive
Take a scenic drive along the Icefields Parkway (stop by Bow Lake, Peyto Lake Viewpoint, and Athabasca Falls)

You’ll fly into Calgary and pick up your rental car. Then drive to Banff (1.5 to 2 hours).
